Job Profile of Swasthya Karyakarta:
A Swasthya Karyakarta/Medical Field Worker has to perform following tasks:
1. Conduct surveys, inspections, and data collection activities as assigned.
2. Engage with local communities to gather information and provide assistance.
3. Compile field data and prepare reports for supervisors and government authorities.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of field activities.
5. Coordinate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
Promotion/Career Growth of Swasthya Karyakarta/Field Worker:
A Field Worker gets only two promotions in his entire career:
1. After a minimum of 3 to 5 years of service as "Field Worker", you will be promoted to "Health Assistant", which is of level-2 salary (₹19900 - 63200, 1900 Grade Pay).
2. After a minimum of 18 years of service as "Health Assistant", you will be promoted to "Health Inspector", which is of level-6 salary (₹35400 - 112400, 4200 Grade Pay).
After this post, you'll retire.
Exam Pattern:
Exam will be of single stage. It will have three papers:
• Paper-1: Knowledge of Language.
This paper contains questions on:
1. Hindi Language: 80 questions
2. English Language: 40 questions
Total: 120 questions
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• Paper-2: Tribal and Regional Language
This paper contains questions on any one language's literature and grammar from the following:
Hindi/English/Urdu/Santhali/Bangla/Mundari/Ho/Khariya/Kudukh/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchparganiya/Odiya/Sanskrit.
Total questions: 100 (MCQ type)
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• Paper-3: General Knowledge
This paper contains questions on:
1. General Awareness: 40 questions
2. Knowledge of Jharkhand State: 50 questions
3. General Mathematics: 10 questions
4. General Science: 20 questions
Total: 120 questions
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)
Marking scheme: In all the three papers, correct answer will earn you +3 marks, and incorrect response will attract a penalty of -1 marks.
Note: You must have to score a minimum 30% marks in each of the three papers, otherwise your result will not be declared.
