JIS(CHKT)CCE-2023 - Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Intermediate (10+2) Level Recruitment 2023

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released notification of JIS(CHKT)CCE-2023 for regular vacancies of LDCs and Stenos of 10+2 (Intermediate) level.

Important Dates:

Application Begins: 11th July 2024
Application Ends: 10th August 2024
Fee Payment Last Date: 13th August 2024
Photo Upload and Printout Last Date: 16th August 2024
Correction Date: 18th August to 20th August 2024

Application Fees:
₹100 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹50 for SC/ST.

Remember: Other State Candidates will be considered in General Category, and will not get any benefit of reservation.

Salary/Pay Level:
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Level-2 (5200-20200, 1900 Grade Pay)
• Stenographer: Level-4 (5200-20200, 2400 Grade Pay)

Educational Qualification:
10+2/Intermediate passed from a recognised board.

Skill Test:
• For LDC: 25 WPM Hindi Typing Speed (for 10 minutes, and maximum 2% mistakes).
• For Stenographer: 80 WPM Hindi Stenography and 30 WPM Hindi Typing Speed (25 WPM for SC/ST).

Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: 18 years.
Maximum Age Limit: Different for different categories:
1. General/EWS (Male): 35 years
2. OBC-1/BC-2 (Male): 37 years
3. Female (General/EWS/OBC-1/BC-2): 38 years
4. SC/ST (Both Male and Female): 40 years.


Exam Pattern:
Exam will be of single stage. It will have three papers:

• Paper-1: Knowledge of Language.
This paper contains questions on:
1. Hindi Language: 60 questions
2. English Language: 60 questions
Total: 120 questions
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)

• Paper-2: Tribal and Regional Language
This paper contains questions on any one language's literature and grammar from the following:
Hindi/English/Urdu/Santhali/Bangla/Mundari/Ho/Khariya/Kudukh/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchparganiya/Odiya/Sanskrit.
Total questions: 100 (MCQ type)
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)

• Paper-3: General Knowledge
This paper contains questions on:
1. General Awareness: 30 questions
2. Knowledge of Jharkhand State: 40 questions
3. Computer Knowledge and questions related to Hindi Typing: 50 questions
Total: 120 questions
Total Time: 120 minutes (2 hours)


Marking scheme: In all the three papers, correct answer will earn you +3 marks, and incorrect response will attract a penalty of -1 marks.


Note: You must have to score a minimum 30% marks in each of the three papers, otherwise your result will not be declared.
