RRB Technician 2024 - Vacancy Increased - Railways Exam Updates - New Updated Zone Wise Vacancies

On 22/08/2024, Railways has released a notification for the RRB Technician 2024 vacancy. It has now increased 1.5 times its previous number.

Before, the vacancy was 9144 for "open line" in 18 categories. But now, railways has added 5154 vacancies of "Workshops" in 22 categories.

Now, there are a total of:
9144 + 5154 = 14298 vacancies.
(In 18 + 22 = 40 categories).

So now you have 14298 vacancies in 40 different categories in the RRB Technician 2024 exam.


What are the revised zone-wise vacancies of RRB Technician 2024?
The revised zone-wise vacancies of all the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are as follows:

1. RRB Ahmedabad: 1015 vacancies.
2. RRB Ajmer: 900 vacancies.
3. RRB Bangalore: 337 vacancies.
4. RRB Bhopal: 534 vacancies.
5. RRB Bhubaneswar: 166 vacancies.
6. RRB Bilaspur: 933 vacancies.
7. RRB Chandigarh: 187 vacancies.
8. RRB Chennai: 2716 vacancies.
9. RRB Gorakhpur: 419 vacancies.
10. RRB Guwahati: 764 vacancies.
11. RRB Jammu-Srinagar: 721 vacancies.
