• Result of Online Examination: 16/12/2024 to 31/12/2024.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2024):
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a UGC recognised university.
Age Limit (as on 01/09/2024):
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 30 years
Relaxation in the upper age limit shall be as follows:
1. OBC-NCL: 3 years
2. SC/ST: 5 years
3. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
4. Ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service as on 01.09.2024 and have been released on completion of assignment/on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service/on invalidment: 5 years
Probation Period: 2 years (can be further extended by 1 year).
Service Bond:
Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Company for a minimum period of three years including probation period. In the event of their resigning from the Company before the expiry of the bond period, they will be liable to pay liquidated damages equivalent to three month’s gross salary (thrice the monthly salary last withdrawn). They will be also required to serve a three months notice period.
BOND PERIOD: 3 years
BOND AMOUNT: Three Months Gross Salary (₹1,10,000 x 3 = ₹3,30,000)
Additional Condition: Serve three months notice period.
Salary of ECGC PO:
Pay Scale: ₹53600-2645(14)-90630-2865(4)-102090
Basic Pay: ₹53,600
Allowances: DA, HRA, CCA, TA, Medical, etc
Gross Pay: ₹1,10,000 approx.
Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc
In-hand Salary: ₹92,500 approx.
Job Profile of ECGC PO:
1. General Administrative Tasks.
2. Work closely with exporters to understand and manage potential risks in trade operations.
3. Regular interactions with banks, exporters, and foreign buyers to monitor payment statuses and ensure smooth transaction processes.
4. Specialize in export risk underwriting.
5. Coordination across departments.
6. Handling exporter's queries.
7. Compliance with regulations.
8. Participate in special projects.
9. Implement new systems and processes.
10. Collaborate with other departments.
11. Conduct training sessions.
Promotion of ECGC PO:
After completing the probation period, you're confirmed as Assistant Manager.
Now your promotion will take place in the following order:
1. Scale - I: Assistant Manager
2. Scale - II: Manager
3. Scale - III: Senior Manager
4. Scale - IV: Chief Manager
5. Scale - V: Assistant General Manager
6. Scale - VI: Deputy General Manager
7. Scale - VII: General Manager
8. Scale - VIII: Managing Director
9. Scale - IX: Chief Managing Director
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of only two stages:
A. Phase I - On-line Examination
B. Phase II - Interview
A. Phase I - On-line Examination:
The online Exam will have two papers (both conducted on the same day):
1. Objective Paper:
It will contain questions from:
a. Reasoning Ability: 50 questions - 50 marks - 40 minutes
b. English Language: 40 questions - 40 marks - 30 minutes
c. Computer Knowledge: 20 questions - 20 marks - 10 minutes
d. General Awareness: 40 questions - 40 marks - 20 minutes
e. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions - 50 marks - 40 minutes
TOTAL Questions: 200 questions
TOTAL Marks: 200 marks
Total Time: 140 minutes
Negative Marking: 1/4th (-0.25 marks)
2. Descriptive Paper:
a. Essay Writing: 20 marks
b. Precis Writing: 20 marks
TOTAL Marks: 40 marks
TOTAL Time: 40 minutes
Questions: In both Essay & Precis Writing, you have to attempt "One out of two given questions"
GRAND TOTAL (Online): 200 + 40 = 240 Marks.
NOTE: Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
B. Phase II - Interview:
On the basis of marks scored in the Online Test, candidates are shortlisted for Interview.
• Total Marks of Interview: 60 marks.
FINAL SELECTION:
Final Selection will be done on the basis of marks scored in both Online Examination and Interview.
Total Marks for Final Merit = 240 + 60 = 300 Marks.
