Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) has released notification for recruitment of Management Trainees for 2024-25.

The Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) is a financial institution, specialized in international trade. It was established in 1982. It's primary function is to finance, facilitate and promote international trade. It is fully owned by the Government of India and operates as a statutory body. Its operations are governed by the Export-Import Bank of India Act, 1981.
The Bank primarily lends for exports and imports, including supporting overseas buyers and Indian suppliers for export of projects, goods and services from India.

There are a total of 50 vacancies, which are distributed as follows:

Application Fees:
General/OBC : ₹600

Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduation with minimum 60% from a UGC recognised university; AND,
(ii) MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM/MMS with specialization in Finance/International Business/Foreign Trade, with minimum 60% marks from a UGC recognised university, OR, Chartered Accountant (CA).
(iii) Proficient in the use of computers and information technology (you don't need any certificate for it, you just need to have the knowledge).

Note:
1. Final year/appearing students are also eligible to apply.
2. The candidates having completed their post-graduation course through correspondence/part-time are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2024):
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 28 years
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as follows:
1. OBC: 3 years
2. SC/ST: 5 years
3. Physically Handicapped (Gen/EWS): 10 years
4. Physically Handicapped (OBC): 13 years
5. Physically Handicapped (SC/ST): 15 years

Duration of Training:
The Training will be of "One year" duration. After completion of training, Management Trainees are confirmed as "Deputy Manager" in Junior Management (JM-I) Scale.
Stipend (during training): ₹65,000/month.

Salary of Deputy Manager:
Pay Scale: ₹48480-2000-62480-2340-67160-2680-85920
Basic Pay: ₹48,480
Allowances: DA, HRA, CCA, TA, Medical, etc
Gross Pay: ₹1,08,000 approx.
Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc
In-hand Salary: ₹91,000 approx.

SERVICE BOND:
Candidates will have to execute a personal bond of three lakh rupees to serve in the bank for a minimum of six years (one year as Management Trainee and five years as Deputy Manager).

BOND AMOUNT: ₹3,00,000
BOND PERIOD: 6 Years (one year as Management Trainee and five years as Deputy Manager).

Promotion of Management Trainees:
1. Scale - I: Deputy Manager (after confirmation).
2. Scale - II: Manager
3. Scale - III: Senior Manager
4. Scale - IV: Chief Manager
5. Scale - V: Assistant General Manager
6. Scale - VI: Deputy General Manager
7. Scale - VII: General Manager
8. Scale - VIII: Chief General Manager
9. Scale - IX: Deputy Managing Director
10. Scale - X: Managing Director & Chairman.


SELECTION PROCESS:
The Selection of Management Trainees will be done in two stages:
A. Written Test.
B. Interview.

A. Written Test: Professional Knowledge.
This stage will test your Professional Knowledge (finance and trade).
It will be subjective/descriptive (pen and paper) test.
It will contain questions from:
1. Part-I: Financial Statement: It will contain only one question of 40 marks, which is compulsory.
2. Part-II: Attempt any 6 out of 8 Questions, and each question will be of 10 marks.
TOTAL Marks = 40 + 6x10 = 100
TOTAL Time: 150 minutes (2:30 hours).

B. Interview:
The interview will be of 100 marks.

• FINAL SELECTION:
For making the final merit, marks of both Written Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage) will be considered.
