Meaning:
• A3 standard:
(a) Physically fit in all respects
(b) Distance vision: 6/9, 6/9 (with/without glass)
(c) Near vision: 0.6, 0.6 (with/without glass)
(d) Spectacles allowed (power not more than 2D)
(e) No Colour Blindness
(f) No Night Blindness
• B2 standard:
(a) Physically fit in all respects
(b) 6/9, 6/12 (with/without glass)
(c) Near vision: 0.6, 0.6 (with/without glass)
(d) Spectacles allowed (power not more than 4D)
• C2 standard:

SALARY:
In this notification, there are posts of two different pay scales:
A. Pay level-3 (5200-20200, 2100 GP)
B. Pay level-2 (5200-20200, 1900 GP)
A. Posts under Pay level-3 (5200-20200, 2100 GP):
(i) Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk (CCTC)
• Pay level: 3 (5200-20200, 2100 GP)
• Basic Pay: ₹21,700
• Dearness Allowances (DA): 50%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 20% (for Y-city)
• Other Allowances: TA, Holiday Allowance, Night Shift Allowance, etc.
• Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc.
• Gross Salary: ₹40,000 approx.
• NET (In-hand Salary): ₹35,000 approx.
B. Posts under Pay level-2 (5200-20200, 1900 GP):
(i) Account Clerk Cum Typist (ACCT)
(ii) Junior Clerk Cum Typist (JCCT)
(iii) Trains Clerk
• Pay level: 2 (5200-20200, 1900 GP)
• Basic Pay: ₹19,900
• Dearness Allowances (DA): 50%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 20% (for Y-city)
• Other Allowances: TA, Holiday Allowance, Night Shift Allowance, etc.
• Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc.
• Gross Salary: ₹36,000 approx.
• NET (In-hand Salary): ₹31,500 approx.
SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection to the service will be done in the following stages:
A. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
B. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
C. Typing Skill Test (TST) (for ACCT & JCCT only)
D. Document Verification (DV)
A. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):
The 1st Stage CBT will contain questions from:
(i) General Awareness: 40 questions - 40 marks
(ii) Mathematics: 30 questions - 30 marks
(iii) Reasoning: 30 questions - 30 marks
• TOTAL: 100 questions - 100 marks
• TOTAL TIME: 90 minutes
• Negative Marking: One-Third (-1/3rd)
• Number of candidates shortlisted for 2nd Stage CBT: Fifteen (15) times the vacancy.
B. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):
The 1st Stage CBT will contain questions from:
(i) General Awareness: 50 questions - 50 marks
(ii) Mathematics: 35 questions - 35 marks
(iii) Reasoning: 35 questions - 35 marks
• TOTAL: 120 questions - 120 marks
• TOTAL TIME: 90 minutes
• Negative Marking: One-Third (-1/3rd)
• Number of candidates shortlisted for Typing Test: Eight (08) times the vacancy.
C. Typing Skill Test (TST) (for ACCT & JCCT only):
• Only for the posts of Account Clerk Cum Typist (ACCT) & Junior Clerk Cum Typist (JCCT).
• Test will be taken on Personal Computer (without any editing tools or spelling check facility).
• English Typing: 30 Words Per Minute (WPM)
• Hindi Typing: 25 Words Per Minute (WPM)
• Number of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification (DV): same as the number of vacancy.
D. Document Verification (DV):
In this stage, all your documents (educational, category, identity, etc) will be verified, and after successful verification, you'll get selected into the service (based on marks scored in 2nd Stage CBT).
