EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 01.10.2024):
Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
AGE LIMIT (as on 01.10.2024):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
The upper age limit will be relaxed as under:
1. SC/ST: 5 years
2. OBC-NCL: 3 years
3. PwBD: 10 years
4. Ex-Serviceman/Disabled Ex-Serviceman: Actual period of service rendered in the defense forces + 3 years (subject to a maximum of 45 years).
5. Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their Husbands, who have not remarried: Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

SALARY of NICL Assistant:
• Scale of Pay: ₹22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)-38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265
• Basic Pay: ₹22,405
• Allowances: DA, LCA, HRA, Grade Allowance, etc
• Gross Salary: ₹39,000 approx (in Metro City).
• NET (In-hand salary): ₹34,500 approx.
• Perquisites: Medical Reimbursement, Interest free Festival Advance, Leave Travel Concession, Loans and Advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Vehicle, Education, Consumer Articles, Personal Computer, etc.
PROBATION PERIOD: Minimum 6 months.
NOTE: Before the probation period comes to an end the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet Company‘s expectation, may be extended.
SERVICE BOND:
Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking to complete the probation period.
If any candidate leaves in between the probation period, or his/her service is terminated in between the probation period, he/she will have to pay a lump sum amount equal to the salary received till date, plus, ₹25,000 towards partial cost of training.

JOB PROFILE of NICL Assistant:
1. Performing basic office tasks, such as data entry, answering phones, sorting mail, operating office machines, etc.
2. Planning and preparing for office events, such as meetings, conferences, etc.
3. Ordering and distributing office supplies.
4. Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, clients, and coworkers.
5. Reviewing and updating office procedures to reduce errors and costs.
PROMOTION:
Promotion of Assistants in NICL takes place in the following order:
1. Assistant (on joining)
2. Higher Grade Assistant (after 5-10 years)
3. Administrative Officer (after another 5-8 years)
4. Branch Manager (after another 3-5 years)
5. Senior/Divisional Manager (after another 3-5 years)
6. Regional Manager (after another 5-7 years)
7. Assistant General Manager (after another 6-8 years).
(After this, Assistants retire).
SELECTION PROCESS:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online):
This phase contains questions from the following:
(i) English Language - 30 questions - 30 marks - 20 minutes
(ii) Reasoning Ability - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude - 35 questions - 35 marks - 20 minutes
• Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Type of Paper: Objective (MCQ type)
• Total Questions: 100 questions
• Total Marks: 100 marks
• Total Time: 60 minutes
• Candidates equal to 15 times the vacancy will be shortlisted for the Phase-II (Mains) Exam.
Phase-II: Main Examination (Online):
This phase contains questions from the following:
(i) Test of Reasoning - 40 questions - 40 marks - 30 minutes
(ii) Test of English Language - 40 questions - 40 marks - 30 minutes
(iii) Test of Numerical Ability - 40 questions - 40 marks - 30 minutes
(iv) Test of General Awareness - 40 questions - 40 marks - 15 minutes
(v) Test of Computer Knowledge - 40 questions - 40 marks - 15 minutes
• Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Total Questions: 200 questions

• Candidates equal to the vacancy will be shortlisted for Regional Language Test.
REGIONAL LANGUAGE TEST:
The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for the same.
