ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. Education: Class 10 High School Exam Passed from Any Recognized Board in India.
2. Sports: Players Who Have Participated or Won Medal in the Various Level of Competition, during the Last TWO years as on the closing date of advertisement. (For Details Read the Notification)
3. Height: 170 cm for Male, and, 157 cm for Female.
4. Chest (Male Only): 80-85 cm
5. Eyes: 6/6, 6/9 in both eyes (without spectacles).
6. Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as on 01/01/2025).
• Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to:
(i) OBC (NCL): 3 years
(ii) SC/ST: 5 years
(iii) Departmental candidates with 3 years service (General/EWS): 5 years
(iv) Departmental candidates with 3 years service (OBC-NCL): 8 years
(v) Departmental candidates with 3 years service (SC/ST): 10 years
SALARY:
• Rank: Constable
• Pay level: level-3 (₹21,700-69,100)
• Grade Pay: 2100
• Basic Pay: ₹21,700
• Dearness Allowance (DA): 50%
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 20%
• Travelling Allowance: ₹3600 + DA (50%)
• Gross Salary: ₹45,000 approx.
• Net in-hand salary: ₹40,000 approx.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done in the following stages:
A. Documentation
B. Physical Standard Test
C. Merit List Preparation
D. Detailed Medical Examination
A. DOCUMENTATION:
In this stage, all your documents and sports certificates & achievements will be checked and verified. Biometric capture and verification will also be done at this stage.
B. PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST:
In this stage, your height, chest, and weight will be measured, to see if they fulfill the minimum required criteria.
C. MERIT LIST PREPARATION:
In this stage, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks given to your sports qualification.
Marks for different levels of sports qualification will be given as follows:
1. Olympics Games/Summer/Winter:
(i) Gold Medal: 100
(ii) Silver Medal: 96
(iii) Bronze Medal: 92
(iv) Participation: 80
2. World Championships/World Cup:
(i) Gold Medal: 90
(ii) Silver Medal: 86
(iii) Bronze Medal: 82
(iv) Participation: 70
3. Asian Games/Commonwealth Games (4 years):
(i) Gold Medal: 80
(ii) Silver Medal: 76
(iii) Bronze Medal: 72
(iv) Participation: 60
4. Asian Cup/Championship/Commonwealth Championship:
(i) Gold Medal: 70
(ii) Silver Medal: 66
(iii) Bronze Medal: 62
(iv) Participation: 50
5. Youth Olympic Games:
(i) Gold Medal: 60
(ii) Silver Medal: 56
(iii) Bronze Medal: 52

6. Youth/Junior Asian Championship/ Youth/Junior Commonwealth Championship:

NOTE: In case of candidates having more than one medal, only the highest sports medal will be taken into consideration.
D. DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION (DME):
In this stage, your overall medical fitness will be checked. To qualify this stage:
1. You should have all organs in a good state.
2. Be free of any chronic disease.
3. Have sound Ears and Eyes (6/6, 6/9, no spectacles).
4. Good dental condition.
5. Normal Blood Pressure.
6. Normal Glucose levels (not diabetic).
7. Normal Heart Rate.
8. And there should be no any type of physical deformity like knock knees, flat foot, etc.
After qualifying all these stages, you will be selected into the service based on the merit list prepared on the basis of sports qualification.
