A.1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
1. For Sub-Inspector (Telecom):
• Male:
(i) 100 metres race: to be completed within 16 seconds
(ii) 1.6 km race: to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds
• Female:
(i) 100 metres race: to be completed within 18 seconds
(ii) 800 metres race: to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds
2. For HC (Telecom) & Constable (Telecom):
• Male:
(i) 1.6 km race: to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds
(ii) 11 feet long jump: 03 chances to be given
(iii) 3.5 feet high jump: 03 chances to be given
• Female:
(i) 800 metres race: to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds
(ii) 9 feet long jump: 03 chances to be given
(iii) 3 feet high jump: 03 chances to be given
A.2. Physical Standard Test (PST):
Candidate's Physical Standard will be tested, which should satisfy these minimum criteria:
1. Minimum Height (Male): 170 cms.
2. Minimum Height (Female): 157 cms.
3. Chest (only for Male):
(i) Un-expanded: 80 cms
(ii) Minimum expansion: 5 cms
• Height relaxation will be given to the following:
(a) All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes: 162.5 cm (Male) and 150 cm (Female).
(b) Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States/ UTs of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and, North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura: 165 cm (Male) and 155 cm (Female).
• Chest relaxation will be given to the following:

C. Phase-3: Verification of Original Documents
• Here in this stage, your Original Documents (Marksheet/NCC/Domicile/Caste/EWS, etc) will be verified and matched with the details given in your application form.
• Incentive/Bonus Marks will be given to candidates having NCC certificate (before 14/12/2024), as follows:
1. NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 5% of the maximum marks of the Examination
2. NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 3% of the maximum marks of the Examination
3. NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 2% of the maximum marks of the Examination
D. Phase-4: Merit List, DME & RME
D.1. Preparation of Merit List:
Merit list will be prepared separately for all posts and category wise, based on the performance in Written Test.
D.2. Detailed Medical Examination (DME):
Candidate whose name is in the merit list, will be called for DME.
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) consists of qualifying the following criteria:
1. You should have all organs in a good state.
2. Be free of any chronic disease.
3. Have sound Eyes and Ears (no spectacles).
4. Good dental condition.
5. Normal Blood Pressure.
6. Normal Glucose levels (not diabetic).
7. Normal Heart Rate.
8. And there should be no any type of physical deformity like knock knees, flat foot, etc.
D.3. Review Medical Examination (RME):
Candidates declared unfit in DME, will be allowed to go under RME, where their body will be checked again. For this, candidates will have to fill the consent form in the prescribed format, and submit it within 24 hours of being declared unfit in DME. RME will be organised the next day of DME.
